Hi,
Hopefully someone can assist…
Some of my lights are controlled by Zigbee enabled 12-24v LED controllers (dimmable). These controllers have a Single colour or CCT control option… you press a button on the device and it switches between the two. The lights I have connected are all just on/off dimming… not CCT.
When the controllers are paired, regardless of the physical setting (CCT or single) the Colour Temperature control shows in Home Assistant.
This hasn’t been an issue until I am now trying to create scenes including these lights. The on/off or brightness state of these lights do not save in a scene.
The log error when trying to save a scene is as follows:
Color mode xy specified but attribute xy_color missing for: "light entity here"
I have searched for methods to permanently change the color_temp option on these particular lights, in doing so I came across the customize:
method (https://community.home-assistant.io/t/solved-disable-color-temp-button-on-standard-more-info/739811)
This method works in so far as it changes the way the devices are displayed in Home Assistant, on dashboards etc… but… The same error persists when trying to create scenes with these customized lights. I have tried putting in helper group, but same issue.
Any thoughts on how to resolve?
Thanks in advance… and apologies if more appropriate to have replied in the topic mentioned above; not sure how that works as that topic shows as ‘solved’.
