Creating Scenes : zigbee2mqtt vs Home Assistant

I have finally managed to install zigbee2mqtt and setup all my devices.

My question is simple. I have noticed it is possible to create scenes within the zigbee2mqtt frontend. For those who use this add-on, could you tell me what are the benefits of using it as opposed to creating scenes in Home Assistant ? What are the benefits/inconvenients of each ?
I’d like to make the better choice right from the start but I have not enough experience to decide which way to go.

zigbee2mqtt scenes are far more reliable, especially when there are many lights (e.g., > 10 in a scene).
