Critical notification in notification template

Good morning all I am looking to try and use the ‘notification send a notification via mobile app’ to send a critical notification when a smoke detector detects smoke. Is this possible using the standard template and putting a custom string of text in data, or do I have to do this via the yaml configuration.

I have attempted to put in ‘critical: true’ into the data field but this has not worked.

If anybody could help me out with this, that would be great.

The required data depends on the mobile platform you use, and is documented here.
