Current draw sensor for 220V outlet

I’m trying to automate the dust collector in my woodshop to turn on/off when the large tools are turned on/off. The dust collector itself is on a 120V/20Amp circuit, I have a single 220V 30amp outlet that the three large tools get plugged/unplugged to.

To turn the dust collector on/off I’m planning to use a contactor and a shelly.

What I’m not sure on how to do is a way to detect wether or not the 220 circuit is under load. One way i can think of is a shelly EM on that circuit. Any other ideas? thanks!!
