Current Recommendations for Camera?

The situation regarding cameras for HA seems to change quite rapidly, with new cameras appearing on the market - so what was recommended yesterday may no longer be the best option today.

I’m looking to get a camera that won’t ‘break the bank’, and will pretty much ‘work out of the box’ on HA, without too much fiddling. The Sonoff GK-200MP2-B IP Camera would be an attractive proposition, but development work to get it operating with HA seems to be at an early stage.
Can anyone recommend a camera, please?

A good and well presented video. Unfortunately it only covers POE cameras. I know the arguments in favour of POE cameras, but my installation will preclude connecting with an Ethernet cable, so it may have to be a wireless solution.

I’m coming round to consider using a POE camera, with a powerline adapter and a POE injector.

Any ‘gotchas’ with that sort of setup?
