It looks like there is no official maintainer of the bar-card anymore.
I forked a working version from spacerokk (who forked it from the original bar-card) and made a complete overhaul of the gui editor - it is now fully functional.
This version should be a drop-in replacement of the original bar-card (although I did not test it against old versions), replacing the bar-card.js with this new version should just work with the added bonus of a fully new graphical lovelace editor.

If all works out well, i am willing tot step up as the new maintainer of the bar-card and make it available again in HACS.
