[Custom Component] Blue Connect Local (Zodiac) - 100% Offline BLE - v1.0.0

Hello everyone,

After my previous work on local pool integrations, I’m very happy to announce the 1.0.0 stable release of my custom integration for the Zodiac Blue Connect pool analyzers (Silver, Gold, etc.).

The goal of this integration is to completely bypass the manufacturer’s cloud and bring everything locally into Home Assistant via Bluetooth, providing fast, precise, and reliable data.

:sparkles: Core Features:

:cloud: 100% Local (BLE): Direct Bluetooth Low Energy communication. No external server dependency and no premium subscription required.

:battery: Passive & Active Modes:

Passive: The integration silently intercepts the device’s regular broadcasts to save battery (1 analysis/hour).

Active: If you provide your device’s access code, you can trigger on-demand analyses or schedule automatic wake-ups.

:test_tube: Built-in Advanced Water Chemistry: No more complex YAML templates. The integration natively calculates in real-time the Taylor Equilibrium pH and the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI), along with a clear status sensor (Balanced, Corrosive, or Scaling water).

:gear: 100% UI Configuration: Everything is managed through the Home Assistant UI (Options Flow). Set your probe calibrations (pH 4/7, ORP, Temperature offset), personal alert thresholds, and pool parameters (Alkalinity, Hardness, TDS, CyA) right from the menu.

:bar_chart: Comprehensive Sensors: Temperature, pH, ORP (Redox), Conductivity, Salinity, Battery (Voltage and %), Signal strength (RSSI), and even Accelerometer data to monitor the float status of the device!

:handshake: I need your help to map the models!
To ensure maximum compatibility with the entire Zodiac lineup and accurately map the different hardware versions in the code, I need a little bit of data from your devices.

If you own a Blue Connect, could you please reply to this thread with the following information?

Your device version: (e.g., Blue Connect Gold, Silver, Plus, Go…)

Full Bluetooth Name: Exactly as it appears during a BLE scan (e.g., BC3-QX…).

The first 5 characters of your Access Code: (e.g., B93XX…).

:light_bulb: Reminder: The 9-character Access Code is usually printed under the USB port cap at the top of the device, or on the storage cap that protects the probes.

Thank you in advance for testing the integration and for your contribution. Happy swimming and automating! :man_swimming:

I have an old Blueriiot BlueConnect Gold, but I read on the repo it’s not compatible. Since I had to replace the battery and the sensor kit, I decided to replace it with the Zodiac BlueConnect Gold, after I saw your post.

It will be shipped on Sunday, can’t wait to test your integration, thanks for your work.
