Thanks for the awesome integration. It already was a big help.
I just mapped the second floor and realized that the zones are a bit off in the integration. What I see is a perfect map with all rooms and details, but the overlaying zones that I need to click to start a job, are completely off the map. Some overlay with other rooms and some are not even over a room but next to the map. How can I solve this and why did that happen?
And also…I just added a room that was forgotten before and now that room does not have a zone at all. Therefore it cannot be selected for cleaning.
That is a card configuration related issue.
In the Dreame app, you can add an additional password. This PW in combination with the User ID can be used for this integration. The Apple ID can still be used for the Dreame app
Have you solved this?
I did with an automation.
I know have buttons in home assistant to do the kitchen or the whole house, or just dining room etc.
The most important thing before starting a cleaning action is, that the cleaning mode is chosen: select.“yourvacuum”_cleaning_mode
Whenever that must change you need to change it in an automation. Now I can also just mop a room or vacuum it.
I have two Dreame L10s Ultra robots but the integration only adds one. How do I get the second added to HA?
Hello, is it possible to shut down or power off the vacuum using a command via Home Assistant?
Here’s a more detailed explanation:
My battery died after 2.5 years, similar to other vacuums I’ve had at home.
I assume it’s not ideal to keep it constantly charged to 100%. I only use the vacuum twice a week, so currently node-red is charging the battery to 80%, then cut the power using a smart plug. When the battery drops below 60%, I start charging again.
The problem is that the vacuum consumes a lot of power even when idle, so it will do that process every ~ 6hour, which will be not a big advantage for sure.
So my idea was: charge it to 80%, cut the power of the, and then completely shut down the vacuum (at moment i only can do it manually by holding the power button for 3 seconds). I’ve already found that when I turn the power back on of the dock (when I want the robot to clean), the robot powers up automatically, too.
I had the exact same issue but unfortunately what you are asking for is not possible to do via the API.
You can add a smart plug to the dock power outlet and cut its power when the battery is at 80% but vacuum will stay on and drain its battery for 12 hours.
There is a feature called off-peak charging in the newer models that supposedly allow you to select charging hours.
Hello,
I havent found a way to just select a room per run, seems like will do the all map constantly. Tried to set cleaning order, but the ones not set, it will eventually go randomly after a cleaning order sequence.
How have you done?
Hallo. I have Dreame L10S Ultra Gen 2. I have downloaded Dreamehome from hacs, but when I try to add the integration, it says I should log in to the Xiaomi Miio cloud. But I do not use Xiaomi cloud or Xiaomi app, I use Dreame app in EU. What credentials should I use to be able to install the integration?
You need to install the Beta version.
hi tasshack, first: thank you for your great work! i just wanted to ask, if you can estimate when the release for movahome will be available.
i have received my Z50 Ultra, but if it does not do what i want via HA, i will send it back.
You don’t need to send it back, it will be working with HA soon enough.
Hi and thanks again for this wonderful integration.
I’m not sure if this feature only exists in the latest firmware of the Xiaomi X20+, but I noticed that the ‘vacuum-extend mop-mode’ parameter in the Xiaomi integration under Home Assistant can be set to ‘low’, ‘medium’ or ‘high’. As a result, the robot performs narrower S-shaped movements during its movement.
Is it possible to activate it in your integration?
Regards
Xiaomi app uses different names for most of the settings. Can you set it from the app to different values and check the logbook from HA device page to see any corresponding changes?
There is no app section for that, it shows only in Xiaomi Home integration.
On the logs: vacuum-extend mop-mode (Xiaomi HA integration) = Mop Pad Humidity (tasshack integration)
So it must be somewhere else, or a default setting in the new firmware that clamps the Ss much tighter than before. This is the first time my robot has had to stop because of a low battery.
Thanks anyway
If it is not inside the app then I removed on purpose from this integration too because I didn’t want to mess with the manufacturer by adding features from a much expensive vacuum.
Thanks for your awesome job! I sent you some money to thank you. Is there something i can do to help for the mova integration ?
I have a L10s Ultra Gen2 and I have the latest beta version of the integration and it doesnt matter if i enabled custom cleaning or not my cleaning mode is limited to only “sweep”. Is this a error ?.. i read some posts and thought it should be to choose between the different modes at this state of the integration.
I saw some other already got it correctly implemented…

I’m planning to buy the Dreame Bot D20 Ultra, but it looks like this model is not yet supported by this custom integration. I’m not sure if that’s because the D20 Ultra is still very new.
Do you have any plans to update the integration to support the D20 Ultra? Or is it already compatible, has anyone tried using this model with the integration?
