Grid Tariff: A custom Home Assistant sensor that calculates a dynamic electricity grid tariff in your chosen currency per kWh.
I made this because I wanted to be able to calculate my current hourly grid tariff, as well as the tariff for each hour of the current day for visualisation purposes. I hope it can be useful for someone else as well.
Feedback, suggestions, and improvements are all welcome. This is my first ever Home Assistant custom component, so please be nice.
For visualisation I use the apexcharts-card, which allows me to create stacked column charts like this (follow the link above for the apex charts config):
