I’d like to share with the community a recent contribution around Home Assistant that I’ve been working on over the past few weeks.
I’m currently launching a home automation consulting activity, with a strong focus on open-source solutions and home cybersecurity. In this context, I’ve developed a custom integration dedicated to cybersecurity, designed to improve visibility and protection within connected home environments.
The goal of this integration is to:
- monitor unusual network behavior
- alert on suspicious activity from connected devices
- improve the overall home network security posture
The project is still evolving, and I would really appreciate your feedback, suggestions, or ideas for improvement. If some of you have specific security needs or would like to test the integration, feel free to reach out or reply here.
I’m also open to discussions around best practices for secure home automation — a topic that I believe is still not widely addressed.
