Yes I did. From HACS, v7.1.3
Ok, sorry i can add more help, as i was forced to âRollbackâ to 2026.1.3, Do to the New Default Loaded Dashboard âOverViewâ, which auto-populated ALL entities into the View.
EDIT: actually im back in late novembers core , currently
trying to fix everything that this rollback caused, first tried version before latest OS-update, but decided to apply the Image i had in November
I had suddenly 2xc310 & 4xc200, Auto-Populated to the new OverView , beside All other Security and all HVAC Entities, available for regular Users, the cams started also to respond slow
And for me itâs to big a risk doo to the fact that All regular users then have easy full access to ALL Entities there
I guess my issue is caused by incompatibility problems between this integration and HAâs new version.
I recently find my same issue here when HA 2024.4 rise
So I hope I just need to wait
My C200 (i have 4) they worked fine, i donât think i had problems in 2026.2.0 after latest Tapo-cam update, but i âRolled Backâ HA for other reasons, so i canât check, now they still work
You canât compare or make any conclusions upon the url you found, partly itâs Old, and there is also no (real)solution or even âCluesâ there
You have to first follow basic troubleshooting, And i just checked the github repos for this integration, And there are no reported issues, for what you describe, years back, which indicates the problem is somehow related to your install, or system
It could be an Auth- error , so you have to check your RAW logfile, not just paste a short line of words
In Settings/system/logs click the 3 dots to the right RAW-logfile, look for relevant errors, you can also choose copy/download file, so you can âcontrol/analyzeâ your logfile in âsuitedâ text-editor
What are you running you HA on, an SD-cart, or SSD ?
Iâm running on HA Green.
My issue canât be caused by wrong login because it is before login.
I canât access to add any Tapo device because issue is being showed.
Just âdevice â add device â select Tapo camera control â ISSUEâ
I will continue looking for, but I found nothing since 3 days ago"
I have no idea what you mean
Do you already have any cams in this Integration ?
Or you see yoru Cam is auto-detected and suggest you to Add the Cam ?
In that case go to Hacs, choose the integration tapo-camera⊠then click the 3 dots to the right, there click Redownload AND then restart HA, also make sure your Cam is Not added somewhere else, and that you have added a Camera-Account in the App, then turn off your app
You are simply not following common troubleshooting practice, and you dont tell or show what your logfiles says, the Exact time when you try to Add device
Not found What ? Where ?
Follow what i just wrote above, if it fails to add again ( AFTER you followed above) Then find your logfile- as described in my privious Post, if you donât see anything in the Log-view( in above path , in my privious post), then Click the 3 dots to the right there, and choose RAW-Log
Itâs okay, donât worry, weâre clearly not on the same page, probably Iâm not explaining so wellâŠ
I already had 2 C200 working perfectly in this integration since long time ago, but after upgrading HA, I have this issue.
Over the last 3 days, Iâve reloaded, reinstalled, cleared temp files, deleted, rebooted 300 times, and reinstalled the integrationâyet the error persists.
Anyway, thanks for your help regardless, I will follow your suggestions
Could be that there will come a new update soon, for this integration, with pytapo 3.4.7
Nope, requirement came yesterday
update core to 2026.2.1
I was there.
Luckily, I remembered I had an external backup from 2 weeks ago, and by reverting to HA OS Core version 2026.1.3, the Tapo Camera Control integration is working again.
My two C200s are working perfectly without any further issues.
So this seems to confirm my initial theory.
The above has nothing to do with HA or integration version, root cause related. It is exactly what it says it is - your HA instance cannot find pytapo==3.4.7 which exists and is published now for 2 days - pytapo · PyPI .
Nothing to fix on integration, or HA side. You will need to find out why your HA instance is not finding the new version, using cache? DNS issues? Adblock? Only you know. Might go away on its own as well.
I just found this integration and really want to try it, but keep getting this error. The C121 camera I have works through the TP-Link Smart Home integration with live video, etc., and Iâm hoping to add this integration to get access to the camera controls and sensors. Iâve also tried removing the TP-Link Smart Home integration before installing this one in case there is a conflict between the two. Thanks in advance for any help getting this to work.
- Failed setup, will retry: PyTapo KLAP Error #3: (âDevice connection error: 192.168.50.XXX: Server disconnectedâ, ServerDisconnectedError(âServer disconnectedâ))
Never mind - I figured it out. I think it was because my TP-Link Cloud/App user name and password were the same as the one for my Camera Account. I changed one of the passwords and it worked. Iâll leave this here in case this helps someone else.
Yes, I am having this as well. Not the first time I think either, but canât remember when the last time was.
I am also having motion sensors getting stuck in detected more often now, which is very annoying since I have automations that rely on when motion stops being detectedâŠ
Please ignore this post, the problem Iâm having with HA is not as I thought!
I have an issue, that the sensor for person detection fails to reset. There was a person in view, now it has left, the integration still shows a detected person. Is there any setting about cool down, sensitivity or anything else that would reset this?
Edit: Setting the person detection to off and back to normal did not change anything - still shows as person detected.
I believe thatâs a bug in the integration. I have the same thing for a while.
Bug in camera, not integration.
Sorry, I stand corrected and did not mean to offend⊠But still, even if there is a bug in the camera, is there no way to work around it in the integration? There some crude workarounds posted here, there are likely nicer ways to work around this in the integration itselfâŠ
