Custom hello_world app is not appearing

Hi,

I trying to build my own App by following the instructions at Tutorial: Making your first app, including the section I don’t see my app?!.

However, the App is not appearing.

I’m running HAOS 2026.9.4 (latest, all updates installed) natively on Raspberry Pi 5:

The following is strange:

  • The documentation says “Click “App store” in the bottom right corner.” but the button is called “Install App”. However the page is then correctly titled “App Store”
  • When Clicking on the refresh Button (in “Apps”) or on “Check for Updates” (in “App Store”) the Chrome Network tools don’t show any activity (nothing in the console and nothing in the network view)
  • The logs for “Home Assistant Core” and “Supervisor” don’t show anything related.

Any hints?

I updated to 2026.10 and the documentation now says to use /local_apps instead. It’s working now.
