[Custom Integration] DTEK — Ukrainian power outages and maintenance for Home Assistant

Hi everyone,

I’ve built ha-dtek, a custom Home Assistant integration for DTEK electricity distribution grids in Ukraine. It brings DTEK outage and maintenance information into Home Assistant so you can use it in dashboards, calendars, notifications, and automations.

Features

- Current power/outage status and outage-active sensors.

- Next outage, estimated restoration time, outage reason, and queue-group sensors.

- A calendar for outage and maintenance windows returned by DTEK’s public portal.

- Optional DTEK Personal Cabinet sign-in for account, meter, and customer details exposed by the account.

- Supports Dnipro, Kyiv City, Kyiv Region, and Odesa DTEK portals.

Installation

The integration is not in the HACS default store yet; its inclusion request is awaiting review. For now, install it as a custom repository:

1. In Home Assistant, open HACS → Integrations → the three-dot menu → Custom repositories.

2. Add https://github.com/aavdberg/ha-dtek and select Integration.

3. Install “DTEK Outages” and restart Home Assistant.

After installation, add DTEK from Settings → Devices & services → Add integration. You can use address-based setup or sign in with a DTEK Personal Cabinet account.

Note: the integration reads outage windows from DTEK’s public portal. It has not yet been confirmed how far in advance planned-maintenance windows appear there, so please don’t rely on advance-warning automations without checking that the relevant window is actually being reported. More details: Investigate: does the portal publish planned maintenance in advance or only once active? · Issue #20 · aavdberg/ha-dtek · GitHub

This is a community-maintained custom integration, not an official Home Assistant or DTEK product. Feedback and testing reports are welcome.
