Custom integration for controlling MSPA spa bath

I would like to announce that I have created a Home Assistant custom integration for controlling mspa spa baths as an alternative to the mspa link app. It is based on the information that I found in this thread:

Hi, Many thanks for letting me join this great community. I have started using HA some weeks ago an I am still overwhelmed about it’s potential. And I am only looking at the surface despite scratching it. I would like to start this request related to my MSpa Oslo Whirlpool. It comes with an App (MSpa Link) and I have not find any integration yet (incl Hacs) Did anyone ever take a look? Many thanks in advance!! Ulf

To try the custom integration read the documentation at the repository here, you can install it using HACS with a custom repository:

Hi, and thanks for your work on this integration — it’s exactly what I was looking for to control my MSPA from Home Assistant.

I’ve added your repo (jm-cook/mspa-homeassistant) to HACS as a custom repository of type “Integration”, and it appears correctly in the list of custom repositories.

However, it does not show up in the list of installable integrations in HACS, even after refreshing and restarting Home Assistant.

You have to click on the repo in HACS, then download the bundle. This installs it. Go to settings-> integrations and add it there after restarting.

Did you follow the installation steps in the readme document? If something is missing pls let me know.

I think the issue was that the list in HACS hadn’t updated properly. Now the integration appeared and I was able to install it without issues. Everything seems to be working fine now.
