Custom wake word?

Is it possible to customize the wake word for HAV? I know there are three defaults but I want to make mine HAL2000.

I found and installed openWakeWord but when I tried to set a word it had a message like “most modern assistants handle this internally.” I took this as an indication I shouldn’t use it. But it’s OK?

did you read the whole thing and follow the section ‘creating your own wake word’ ?

Not yet but I will. Wanted to make sure I’m not going to break anything.
