Customizable presets and default timeframe for the History page date picker

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you to all the developers and contributors for making Home Assistant such an amazing platform!

I would like to suggest a small quality-of-life improvement for the built-in History panel (/history).

Current Situation

When opening the date range picker in the History panel, there is a fixed list of quick-select presets (Today, Yesterday, Last hour, Last 7 days, etc.). Currently, this list is static, and the default view loads a fixed timeframe.

The Problem

For my day-to-day use case (and likely for many others troubleshooting active issues), I need short timeframes like “Last hour” far more often than long ranges like “Last 7 days”. Having to manually open the picker and select “Last hour” every single time adds unnecessary friction to quick checks.

Feature Request

It would be fantastic if we could:

  1. Set a default timeframe for the History page (e.g., choosing “Last 1 hour” as the standard starting view instead of loading the full day/longer period).
  2. Customize or reorder the preset list in the date picker, so frequently used options are prioritized at the top.

Why this would be valuable

While custom dashboard cards (like the History Explorer Card) exist as workarounds, having flexible presets in the core UI would make the native History view much more efficient and intuitive for daily usage.

Thank you for considering this suggestion!

PS: And yes, there is another suggest (Add more time presets in the history date picker) but it´s old and forgotten; SORRY!
