D1 Mini Pro first integration to hassio

Dear all
I have been trying to add a D1 Mini Pro to hassio via ESPHome for some time.
Unfortunately, without success so far. I now have three and I can’t get any of them installed via ESPHome. A connection with the PC works via Arduino. However, via the ESPHome Surfer, the connection is constantly interrupted during the initial installation.
Unfortunately, I haven’t found a workable solution in the forums either.
Therefore, I am now turning to you.
I hope to be able to install the devices in my home automation system with your help.
Thank you very much in advance for your support.
Best regards
Gregor

There is no hassio.

Plug the esp device into the computer running HA. Flash it. Job done.

We would need more information about your setup. What platform are you running HA on? What install method for HA and ESPHome did you use?

As Nick stated - the most reliable way to install firmware on a new device is to plug it directly into the machine running HA. When you click on install in ESPHome and choose “Plug into the computer running ESPHome Dashboard”, you should see the ESP as something like “CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller”.

Choose that - the software will compile and attempt to upload. You may need to press reset when the load starts to get the ESP into flash mode.

Hey Daryl hey Nick
That is the solution.
I must plug in direct on the Raspberry Pi. Now it run.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards
