At this time I’m running the Daikin Onectra integration (GitHub - jwillemsen/daikin_onecta: Home Assistant Integration for devices supported by the Daikin Onecta App), but in the past I’ve used daikin_residential. I forgot to delete the old one and now my ACs are linked to both integrations. The old integration shows as a state “Not loaded”. Does this mean that when I try to delete the old integration my devices will also be deleted from the new one?
I’ve also noticed an even newer integration for Daikin (GitHub - Chris971991/homeassistant-daikin-optimized: Home Assistant integration for Daikin AC with firmware 2.8.0 support (BRP084). Includes performance optimizations (3-4x faster) and HA 2025.10 SSL fix. Works with all firmware versions.) that claims to be faster. Does anyone have experience with this?
