Did you look for an S403 plug as well?
yes. it clearly is a Gree board they put inside Daikine labeled AC. Funny, maybe because LatAm, so they can get away with it?
I will try to put esphome gree adapter, just waiting for the Logical Bridge (5–>3.3) adapter.
So it’s some imitation of Daikin?
Labeled Daikin, sold as Daikin. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ With the appropriate premium label price ![]()
You called it Daikine.
What’s the exact model of you Daikin?
What’s the model number? In some places the daikin is rebadge as acson and just the same motherboard with s21 or cnwir ports
So quick research shows that it’s a “genuine” model for specific market area.
Also, daikin has been doing partnership with gree, Zhuhai Gree Daikin Device.
So likely you need to look for another route here.
Quite interesting though, I would expect “daikin” having noticeable premium price over gree…
Do you have wifi module on board?
No onboard module.
Just the cable connector routed to where it should go.
I will put an esp32 gree wifi adapter together in next 2-3
days, and report back.
And yes, the units are sold as Daikin, with price premium compared to any other units like LG or Panasonic.
The original gree wifi is cloudbased, dont want that.
Confirmed.
The AC, although labeled Daikin and sold as Daikin, is Gree (called it Glee before) ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The WiFi adapter based on esp32 and esphome from the link below is working perfectly -

I hope it helps someone for future refference.
Out of China we pronounce it Gree… ![]()
Hi @vercellino!
Greetings from Spain. First of all, my most sincere congratulations for your work and thanks for your great contribution to the community with such as great addition to the esp32 faikin model with all your additions.
I’m starting to get closer to the HA ecosystem in my new flat (and as a developer, also a contributor to the community), by trying daikin community alternatives to my Concealed Ceiling Unit from 2007 (as I’ve seen on the stickers specs).
In my case, I have a model not yet listed on the List of confirmed working air con units, but I’d like to try it by using the S21 Wired Controlling port, using your board solution first of all.
That said, I don’t know if you still have any extra unit from your PCB order for me to get one (I’d take care of all the expenses if you can send me a unit), or you can explain me how to order a new set of them.
I know that this thread you started, with such an impressive contribution, seems to have been prostituted and changed its subject, but in my case I greatly admire your work and your result, and I would like to be able to do a test on my unit to contribute my experience to the list of supported Daikin devices.
Thanks again for your contribution, hopping to know soon about this topic, focusing this thread to the topic it was started at first.
@vercellino I can’t DM you as I have just registered (I have always browsed the forums anonymously), I am from Italy and would like to know more about your boards if you are still available
Sorry, I’ve finished all the boards.
That’s fair, I’ll get them from the creator. Thanks for the reply ![]()
So, I bought a Faiken ( Faikout S3-MINI-N4-R2), and have it installed. Is there a way to change it over to ESPHome. I use ESPHome a lot more, so I have better understanding there. I am not trying to pull the device out if I can not make the change.
Hi

To flash it to a esp32?
I installed espidf powershell but i got errors on my win10 pc.
