Dashboard: Sonos card

Refreshed browser, cleared everything, tried from edge, chrome and Android phone app.

L.E.
I am using yaml mode for my main dashboard, I had to add the integration manually in configuration.yaml
Maybe a small mention in the tutorial, if anybody is using manual configuration for lovelace.

I don’t think this is an issue and github might not be the place to ask, and because the card author started this, here are 2 questions:

  1. Is there a way to search through the sonos media library? I have added my local 50k songs library but can’t seem to find the search option.
  2. Is there a way to route the audio, play from or stream from my navidrome server?

So I know it’s there because I searched the thread but can’t figure out how to expose the crossfade button in the player. Anyone?

Is it possible to control the options that are displayed when clicking the cogwheel in the volume section?

Still hunting the elusive crossfade button. Anyone?

Press the cogwheel under volumes

Ah, thanks. I saw a screenshot from the pull request that made me think it would show on the player -

Thanks

Just checked and it is working for me now. Album Art is showing up. The only thing I have done was update Home Assistant.

Does anyone know how I can hide the home button and the settings button? I want it to be more minimalistic.

Add only one section in configuration

Did you find a way to do this. I have found some examples of a media card that some people have done in Music Assistant but it is as simple to use as the sonos card especially when grouping players.

Greetings. First I want to say that this card has been a lifesaver. Kudos to making SONOS easier to use than their own app.

Here is my question. I’m trying to make a ā€œspouse qualify of lifeā€ interface. I want to make a dashboard for music, but I want the player to default to a group of speakers. Can I do this? I just want to present a preselected interface so my hubby can just select from favorites and it plays.

This would make life so much more peaceful. Thanks.

Hello, Sorry for my not-so-good English. I have a problem with my Amazon playlists in Favorites. In the Sonos app on my phone, I have two playlists and three individual songs. In the Sonos card from Home Assistant, I only see the three songs. If I click on Select Media, I can only see the three songs. Unfortunately, the playlists don’t appear. Does anyone have an idea? I would be very grateful. Thank you very much. Thomas

same question here

I already asked on the plex forum but nobody seems to have an answer .
Maybe anyone here can help .

So I have a problem that used to go away after readding plex service to sonos .

I have sonos speakers that i control via home assistant .

Sometimes when i could not play my favaurites i just added the plex service again to the sonos app and the favourites worked again . Now they appair in de Favourites folder but are grayed out also in home assistant the playlist images dont show anymore .
The problem is the same but the solution is not working anymore .

Anyone having this issue ( i think is on the sonos side of things) if i go to plex true sonos app and navigate the folders i can play anything i want so sonos has acces .
Just not the favourited items .

Is anyone experiencing any issues trying to play spotify playlists? I’m assuming this is an HA/Sonos issue, but every time I attempt to access a Spotify playlist from my favorites I get the following error:

Failed to perform the action media_player/play_media. Error calling SonosMediaPlayerEntity._play_media on media_player.office: UPnP Error 800

So frustrating. Everything else is working fine, just re-authorized Spotify in the Sonos app and get the same error.

Edit: As a followup I checked the sonos integration and was able to play my playlists with no issues, I think it’s something with the way this card is calling the playlist??

Looks like the same issue i am having with plex , seems we are the only ones :- :disappointed:

hi @all, i have a problem with the Favorites, on the sonos card i have an ā€œorphaned Radio Stationā€ on the Sonos App this Radio Station doesn’t show, so i can’t remove it. if i add and remove any other stations will work with the sonos card. Anyone know how to remove it, really upset me.

Solved, only with the sonos desktop app i was able to see the hidden greyed out radio station to remove it.
