I have a UTILITY meter for WEEKLY consumption.
This is based on the consumption of a HELPER, which is adding 2 Split AC consumption figures from a sensor.
Right now I can not select in den CARD what I want: change
I can only choose between Min Max and Average which I do not want cause it makes no sense. Here you can see my option in light grey, which I can not select.
I have already on the right the 2 stat Cards for the source sensor and if I choose max the figures for a week are wrong, every week is wrong.
Here in this example you can see the “average values”
You can see on the left for the current week the total amount of 12 kWh
nice , if it would be true considering that the next graph shows the bathroom alone with 15 kWh and 7 kWh for the dining room, so 22 kWh in total and NOT 12 kWh
no, not all
I had gotten also bad news for a “maybe similiar” issue. I have build a PV energy counter by adding all inverters. And then it did not work properly and they told me that the issue of “statistic” would due to the fact that I am adding sensors, but I can not remember the topic
Ok, now I have found the topic and I guess it is the same or similiar general topic.
Sensors with state_class: measurement record min/max/average statistics
Sensors with state_class: total/total_increasing record state/sum/change statistics.
It’s not the card that is limiting you, but simply the fact that what you want to display is not stored in the database. You would need to change the state_class of the sensor to get those values going forward.
I guess that I can not really change the state_class cause I think that both sensors are from SonOff PowR devices that can be turned on and off and measure the energy consumption per day and power for example.
Those are provided by the integration - or I would have to add another sensor in yaml based on the sonoff sensor and then with the state_class you had mentioned.
I can not figure that out right now but I hope I will have the time on the weekend to figure that out.
I call it a (so far) best solution - at least for now.
Thanks a lot.
