Dashboard with narrow and wide sections

Hi! I’m struggling a bit with understanding how sections of differing width is handled
I would like to have a layout with two sections side-by-side for some cards which are fairly narrow, and then one section underneath for a card which needs more width for visibility.

Setting width = 1 in the two first sections, and width = 2 in the third section did not give the expected result.

The dashboard is for a tablet-serving-as-remote-control in the living room, so I would like to manage the layout fairly detailed to avoid everybody having to scroll.

That looks like a Sidebar view?
I was thinking more like

1122
1122
3333

Like this?

Or like this?

More like the latter, but in a portrait format rather than landscape.
Could I simply use the footer? Nah that didn’t really look right either.

Just fill the top row then make a section under it full width. e.g. this is for a screen size that fits four columns across it (read the section headings for the section widths I used)
