I’m looking at adding improvements to an existing component. However this requires some changes to one of its requirements=, yet the github repo and the associated Pypi package appear to be unmaintained (no changes in years and no response to a PR).
It’s a fairly unique package so there are no alternatives. Would I just fork and create a new Pypi package and use that, or are there more recommended approaches? It seems it’s not allowed to use a github url in the manifest requirements.
