I am not sure whether this is a bug or there is just a setting I would have to change, so please be patient with me.
I use the deCONZ v7.0.0 addon with my ConBee III, can access both the Phoscon UI and the deCONZ UI. However, the latter does not seem to make the optimal use of the available screen. The screenshot below shows the complete tab of the maximized browser window. Only half of the screen shows the network, and that is very small. I can of course zoom in, but the large space on the right hand side still remains almost blank except for 4 tick boxes and a bit of text. And there is always that black space on the left hand side. Could this be changed? I have not found a way to make the window larger that shows the network.
Furthermore, I would like to know how (which address) I would have to use to open this in a VNC client? Would that make sense at all?
I access HA only from inside my home network (if it matters for my question).
Finally, I wonder also about the buttons at the top: 1-9, and [ ]=
What do they mean?
I have been running Home Assistant and Deconz in a VM for almost 5 years.
This half-screen thing only came about in the last year or so. I’m not in Deconz very often, so it has been an annoyance but not a huge issue. I would not call this a feature request, since I think it is a bug.
I’d guess it was actually a VNC update in Home Assistant that caused it, but I’ve never looked into it. Going to keep reading now and try to solve it.
Just accidentally found something… not sure if you have a mouse and keyboard with your installation, but holding the Alt key and click+drag on the grey window allows me to move the box around.
I kept playing with the alt key and tried right click dragging, I can resize and move the deconz window and grey box too! In fact, looks like I can put the deconz window on top of the grey window and make it disappear… getting back the full deconz window.
ALT + Mouse ~ Left & Right Click or Mouse Dragging
Going to make a post on this since it wasn’t easy to figure out and I’ve been puttin up with it for far too long.
This is just wonderful - thanks a a lot, dear @Jeremiah
And if you or someone else could shed some light also on the meaning of those buttons in the top left corner with the black background, this would be great, too:
