Deconz ikea on/off no entity

Hi guys, just started with the combeeII with deconz in docker. All works so far, migrating xiaomi sensors etc and just tried my first tradfri light with on/off switch. All are paired in deconz, and the switch works when setting up rules to control the light via deconz.

The integration with HA also shows all devices (even xiaomi smoke detectors that are not shown in deconz but are connected).
Problem is, my on/off switch doesn’t show an entity like all other sensors and lights:

any thoughts? what am I missing? or is this a bug?

It’s normal. Read the docs.

Switches don’t show up like that. They publish their button presses under deconz_event.

edit: but under sensors I find a different story, the one you mention. I will look into the deconz_event. thanks!

Switch refers to a switched on/off plug like the Oaram smart plug etc.

Switches (light switches and remotes etc) appear as a sensor (usually one for battery level) and the events are pushed through and you listen for that in HA.
