@Fury1SOG: I don’t know what happened, really, - but I did another full reset of the RaspBee, reboot, restore of snapshot, reboot, restored the backup via phoscon, and changes the channel from 25 to 20, then to 15 and 11 I think, back and forth. Then I changed it back to 25 which it was on originally and is the correct channel.
All of a sudden all of the mesh links started appearing and changing color. Incredibly satisfying. If it happens again a proper screen capture is in order.
Thanks a lot for putting me on track regarding the channels. Nudging it around really seemed to be the final touch to get it running.
This is after 3 days of no reply from Dresden Elektronik support… usually they give a good answer after 2 days or so, but now when I really needed them it was completely silent.
I’ve been looking for a “Zigbee for Dummies” book to really get to learn the tech i’m relying on. Tips on good texts on zigbee any1?
Have a great day anyone.
My significant other very happy.
Don’t need the flashlight no more.
whistling and toggles some lights on and off and back on again
Hi, good to read that it’s working now. But to say that channel 25 is the right one fits only for you. It depends on the channel, your WiFi runs. The WiFi produces serious interferences with zigbee because both are on 2.4GHz. If both channels are close together, it will couse problems. There are grafics available in the Internet explainig this and pointing you to the right channel.
It’s just in order to give the right info for other users facing problems with unstable devices
One of my Aqara temperature sensors recently started to intermittently report a temperature of -100. I see that this has also been reported as a problem here:
Would it be possible for to filter out these erroneous values, “-100C” makes no sense anyway?
I assume that since this started happening after several months of normal operation the battery might be getting low. The reported value in Deconz is still 100% however, so that is probably not something I can trust.
I’ve solved this for now by setting up a “filter” sensor in front of the actual sensor (I use this sensor to control my fireplace, so the -100 readings were seriously annoying).
I have two osram switches controlling a humidifier and a ventilator. Both switches are in an own group “Schalter”. The humidifier has its own live. When being turned on via HA, it automatically turns of again after 2 or 4 minutes. The humidifier is activated, when the netatmo sensor falls below 44 and the time is between 02 and 6 ó clock.
The conditions were true during the whole night. The humidity falls below 44 at 03:07 and never raised during that time.
There is no automation or script running and there is no timer in phoscon doing this.
I noticed, that when the switch is turned off, the group stayed on and vice versa.
I know its possible to get those buttons running via the deconz REST API or otherwise, but I never got it to work. If you have a working setup, I’d be thrilled to see how you got it to work.
Anyone who “secured” the conbee/raspbee installation?
I mean, actually I have one Raspberry with raspbee installed, lots of switches who commands several lights in my house… If the Raspberry goes down (e.g. hardware problem), I cannot switch on/off all the lights and I have to divorce
So, I have also another Raspberry and what about if I’ll use another Raspbee/Conbee? But if the first Pi goes down? Do I have to pair again all my switches to restore the operability? Or is there any other fast way?
I have a couple of rooms with a hue dimmer and bulbs. I reset the dimmers when adding them to deconz, but now one of them works as an original hue dimmer as it toggles through scenes when toggling the “on” button and dim up/down when holding the respective button- none of the others does that, they are controlled via appdaemon to turn/on off etc.
I can’t see that the one dimmer is connected in any other way than the others.
Any ideas to why it behaves differently? I would like to either active the others in the same way or only use appdaemon for all of them, so they are consistent in how to use them.
0x2E07 is no device, I have. It is always connected only to my Osram Plug 01. When I delete it, it reapears.
What can that be?
PS: It is not visible in Phoscon.
Anybody else having problemens with the Ikea smart blinds? I have three, one started acting up so I reincluded it. Worked fine. But after a few hours it does not react anymore. I can control the blind via the VNC Deconz GUI but doesn’t react to any commands from HA. When I reinclude it. It works for a few hours then stops working again… I have this with two of my blinds. Seemed to start when I updated to .71 and HA .102.
I get every 10 seconds this messages in my Deconz Log:
16:00:51:368 channel is 25 but should be 11, start channel change
16:00:51:368 Skip automatic channel change, TODO warn user
16:00:51:388 Current channel 25
Hi all, I’ve just got my conbee and wondered if it would be possible to add these Xiaomi Opple switches to deconz?
I’ve got one at home and wondered if I coud add it.
