So I have a Degrii Thermostat. It’s a cheap, but full featured smart thermostat, and I have it all set up the way I want in its own app.
It also has GH and Alexa integration.
Now. The way that integration works, at least for Google, is, you select “Smart Life” from the list of “Works with Google” and when it asks for your login, you give it the same email/PW as your Degrii info.
Now here’s where it gets weird. If you also have a separate Smart Life account, and they share email addresses, it will then ask if you want to sync Degrii or Smart Life.
And since Google only allows one account per “integration” this means I can either have my Degrii thermostat, OR my 2 or 3 Smart devices on Tuya/Smart Life, but not both.
Now, I’m getting HA set up, but I can’t get the Degrii Thermostat to even be seen at all by the Tuya integration, and I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this or anything similar.
I really do like the look my thermostat, and it also has remote mini thermostats that work with it as well.
I would like to at least monitor temps, settings and such in HA, modifying said settings is not a necessity.
