Delay time on command open or close

Hi,

I have four covers that I control via four shelly Pro 2 PM. However, the shelly does not control the cover by wire, but there is wired IR remote control.

Problem:

If I start the open command on all the covers at the same time, all the remote controls activate simultaneously and the covers do not open. If I open them individually with a 5-second delay, I have no problem.

In home assistant, is it possible to put a delay on an open or close command without making an automation?

How are you doing this currently (the at the same time part)?

My first thought would be a template cover with a script that has the delays built in for each one:

Hi Ben,

I have created in HA one helper “switch” and I have created automation in homekit with pause between one cover and another, but it’s not the best way.

If I open one cover the helper is turnerd off, I want to create an automation on homekit “close all covers” but without pause it is not possible.
