Delete large number of inactive entities

Hi there,

I have been using HA since 2016 I believe. but I am niot a very technical user.

Over the years many integrations/devices/entities have accumulated. I have hundreds if not thousands of orphaned entities and also devices (e.g. from Fritzbox - guest devices) too.

Is there a "bulk way" of cleaning this up? Or do I have to click on hundreds of entities to delete them manually?

In the entities page, sort by status and then scroll to the ones with red !

Then click on (shift click works for multiple rows and then click on delete in top right (3 dots)

If they are able to be deleted, they will be

Use the filter on the top left to only show "Not Provided" Status entities. Then select them all.

Thanks, that is a very practical way. But only for the "not provided" which were about 40 in my case.

I remain with so many "not activated" entities that I cannot delete. What do I do with those? Or just carry on not worrying about them?

You don't delete undeletable entities, you disable them.
