Desperate help with Home Assistant Sensor node please

Hi all,
I’m just about to tear my last bit of hair out, been messing with the HA Sensor nodes for hours now and going round and round in circles.

I have configured two devices - ESP_Monitor_1 and HUE, both have a min_temp, max_temp and current_temp entity

Despite having set friendly names etc, I am gettin interaction between setting up the HUE node with the ESP node - seems using the word “current_temp…” is editing one as well as the other.

No idea why but I just can’t get it going as needed.

Can anyone please give some pointers as to how I correctly set up the sensor node for multiple devices?

It seems like it is limited to 4 nodes and you can only have 1 node called Temperature despite being on different devices?

Still looking at it, I think the node or plugin may be bugged?

Just loading the details for the nodes in NR and not saving anything yields corrupted data - the nodes are getting swapped between devices without my setting it so.

Clearly its not working.

Is there a way that I can get data from NR to HA properly for sensors etc???

Just as an update, I think I have found my issue…

Make sure you create a new, unique sensor config file for every node :wink:

They can share the device config so HA groups them together but every input needs a config of it’s own.
