Device disappeared from ESPHome Builder in HA

One of my devices has disappeared from ESPHome Builder in HA. One device is hidden but the other one has gone missing. Both devices still show under Devices & Services and the device entities continue to work without issue.

Any thoughts on how I can get it back please?

Unhiding devices brings the hidden one back but the other one is still missing.

I’m running HAOS 15.1 and Core 2025.4.1. It’s a generic install with no docker containers. ESPHome Builder is 2025.3.3 and there were no updates performed before the device disappeared.

This means that the file is no longer in /config/esphome

Interesting. I just had a look (had no idea where until your reply) and saw there was an Archive folder that had the yaml file for the missing device. I copied it back to /config/esphome and restarted ESPHome Builder and the device is back!

No idea how that happened but your tip helped me greatly.
