Hi everyone, I’m Giuseppe and I’m new to the forum. I’d like to start by saying that I’m a beginner with Home Assistant and not very experienced in this field.
I installed Home Assistant OS on a Raspberry Pi 5. I bought an SLZB-06 SMLIGHT antenna and initially installed Zigbee Home Automation, adding some INNR SP240 smart plugs as devices — everything worked fine at first. Later, I installed Zigbee2MQTT with the Mosquitto broker, disabling Zigbee Home Automation as per the guide. During the first startup, everything worked, and it recognized the devices.
However, after a power outage and restarting the system, I began experiencing issues. Zigbee2MQTT wouldn’t start anymore. After several attempts, I found the problem: the antenna had changed its IP address because it was connected to the modem via LAN cable and to the Raspberry Pi via USB, using DHCP.
This wasn’t the first time a device changed its IP address — it had also happened with my router. After doing some research to avoid this issue, I disabled DHCP on the SLZB-06 SMLIGHT device and assigned it a static IP. I reconnected to Zigbee2MQTT, but it no longer found any devices. After several attempts at reinstalling the add-ons, etc., it eventually found them, but gave me the error messages you’ll find attached.
It all seems very strange to me, given that the smart plugs are from the same brand, model, and factory. One is recognized, another isn’t recognized at all, and another is only partially recognized.
Could someone kindly offer some advice?
Thanks in advance to everyone for your time.
