Device registration requested

I keep getting this pop up on my Sony TV saying “device registration requested. Enter the following number into your device to continue”
Device: Home Assistant

It seems to go away after 5 to 8 seconds then generates a new code. I have no notification to enter a code anywhere in my HA web interface.

Same here. Did one of you find the cause of the issue and/or a solution?

I can’t rememer exactly, but I removed the Home Assistant link on the Sony TV by going to Settings -> Network -> Remote device settings -> Deregister remote device.

Then, on HA, remove the Sony Bravia integration. If you were using the old method of the yml entry, you can scrap that now and use the UI method. Once you have removed the integration, you can add the Sony Bravia TV again using the Integreations UI in HA.
