Hello All,
I have a device_tracker group which works fine in my dashboards, and states appear correctly in Developer Tools. My challenge is I would like to leverage the group states in automations, and as I enter in the group in the automation UI, the option of “Home” or “Not_Home” isnt available. The only states I see are “Unavialable” or “Unknown”. I am theorizing it may have something to do with the helper not being manageable in the frontend, but I am unsure. Any help is appreciated!
Just type home or not_home in manually.
I have tried that, but the trigger is not recognized. Even when that is the group state in developer tools.
Post the automation’s configuration so we can see if there are other issues.
