Device tracker: Logs show correct location, HA doesnt

Hi,

I have a weird issue with the android app device tracker.
I made sure that all steps here were followed. Troubleshooting | Home Assistant Companion Docs
I reset the app and the integration, all optimizations are disabled, all location permissions are set, and I manually set a single “device_tracker:” in the config.

I checked the logs:

11-05 20:56:52.900 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Received location update.
11-05 20:56:52.907 18494 18494 D ForegrndServiceLauncher: Check if service HighAccuracyLocationService is running. Service running = false
11-05 20:56:52.907 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Last Location:
11-05 20:56:52.907 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Coords:(xx.xxxxxxxx, xx.xxxxxxx)
11-05 20:56:52.907 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Accuracy: 19.0
11-05 20:56:52.907 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Bearing: 0.0
11-05 20:56:52.908 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Begin evaluating if location update should be skipped
11-05 20:56:52.908 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Received location that is 41 milliseconds old, 1667678212866 compared to 1667678212907 with source fused
11-05 20:56:52.908 18494 18494 D LocBroadcastReceiver: Duplicate location received, not sending to HA

This looks very much like in the description, but still the device_tracker in HA only shows home.
Then I manually set it to “not home” but i didnt update and now it shows just “unavailable”.

Is there anything else that could interfer or hinder the correct reporting of the location to HA?

Cheers
F.
