Device Tracker NMAP - purge non-existent devices and entities

Hi,
Does anyone have an easy solution on how to purge old non-existent devices that are created by the Nmap tracker? If I disable the tracker I can delete entities but I can’t find any easy way to delete the devices.

Is the only viable solution to edit .storage/core.device_registry by hand?

If they are from the old nmap tracker, remove them from known_devices.yaml

They are from the old nmap and I have cleared the known devices file but they seem to have been permanently moved to the .storage… file.

Did you remove the old nmap tracker from configuration.yaml ?

Yes. Removed after the switch to the integration version. I believe it is the integration that should cover the removal of the devices but I assume it may not be managed by all integrations so an override is needed.

Hi,
Just to share how I have purged old data as I couldn’t find a straight forward solution.
I simply deleted the integration and set it up again from start.
Note that I’m just tracking a range of 10 IP’s so was easy to do this approach.
