Device tracking 2024.9.1 core

Hi, Had a look on previous posts but all very old.
Device track was working before upgrading to 2024.9.1
In lovelace >settings >people, both phones are shown as selected for the two users, and both android phones are running the latest companion version, both have the tracking turned on

It maybe a problem with port forwarding on the router , as I have used a very high numbered port to be forwarded to port 8123 on the SBC running HA.
However, both and either phone when away from home the HA mobile companion works, yet looking at the device states, both are shown as at home.
Both phones have high accuracy location turned on as well.
Any ideas ?

OK , I’ll ask the question another way

Which ports does the companion App use for communication with the device that is running HA ?. I’m aware the main port is 8123, but I suspect for device location with the Location data derived from GPS data acquired by the phone, another port is used.
The port forwarding works fine between phones running the companion app, but the location data doesn’t seem to been read, as both phones are always shown as at home.
