Hello everyone,
my partners device tracker always shows him as “Home”, I have added the app inside his “Person” Config as well as an ICMP Tracker (Detection if phone is connected to WLAN). The ICMP works perfectly, but his app tracker always shows him as home, is there a way to tell home assistant that the ICMP tracker has a higher priority? Shouldn’t it already be this way that stationary trackers are higher prioritized than GPS?
The reason his app tracker shows im as home is that he cant use a VPN during driving (Android auto wont work) and can’t use a VPN at work (they have VPN detection on their network). So logically the HA App never sent an updated location info and still shows him as home.
The simple solution would be to remove his app from the “Person” Config, but that would mean I loose his GPS Data that I use for many automations (zones).
