DHCP server reservations doesn't work

I have installed the DHCP Server add-on and configured it. My clients perfectly get an IP address from the DHCP server. However when trying to add DHCP reservations it seems that although the configuration is accepted and correctly written in the container the reservations are ignored. This means any client can get an IP address that is reserver for specific MAC address and those client which are on the reserved list get just a free DHCP address instead of the one that is reserved. Not sure if i did something wrong or that is has to do that i have a /23 network instead of the more common /24.

Here is the config file:
default_lease: 86400
dns:

  • 172.16.65.20
    ntp:
  • es.pool.ntp.org
    domain: home.local
    hosts:
  • name: tomcat
    mac: f8:94:c2:cd:ba:7c
    ip: 172.16.64.1
  • name: tomcatw
    mac: a4:4c:c8:54:9b:30
    ip: 172.16.64.2
  • name: solaxpower
    mac: d0:ba:e4:36:a0:b0
    ip: 172.16.64.230
  • name: s_office
    mac: 1c:90:ff:6d:26:2c
    ip: 172.16.64.240
    max_lease: 172800
    networks:
  • broadcast: 172.16.65.255
    gateway: 172.16.65.254
    interface: eth0
    netmask: 255.255.254.0
    range_end: 172.16.64.1
    range_start: 172.16.64.254
    subnet: 172.16.64.0

Any help is appreciated. Even if this is to tell me how to file bug on this add-on.

Can’t find any other then your range start and end are the other way around. Maybe that’s it?

Many Thanks. Didn’t see this before. Will check if this is causing the issue when i’m near my installation again.

Was too busy in the weekend but can confirm that changing the begin en end values solved the issue.
