Different images in mobile app to laptop

Hello , hope everyone is ok and well.

I’m hoping somebody can explain why I am seeing strange behaviour between the mobile app and normal browser on a laptop.

I created a floor layout image and using the picture elements card created a dashboard page with the relevant devices on. This works fine but I was unhappy with the image, so on a laptop I download the image from HA using file editor and amended before uploading ( as a replacement image). On the laptop I can see the changes , but in the mobile app there is no difference.

I used exactly the same file name and I’ve checked the two side by side and the path to the image and image file name are identical.

Why is this happening and any suggestions on how to fix .

Just to add , just tested it on an iPad and I can see the changes. It’s only on my iPhone I can’t … very strange ….

Clear the cache?

Thank you , it seems easier said than done as I could not find any way in the app or phone settings to do this , even after several google attempts. So deleted the app and re-installed and now all working fine.
