Since 2024, I have been working on further integrating Divera 24/7. Divera is a tool for alerting, duty scheduling, and resource planning. It is primarily used by fire departments and rescue services in Germany, where 97% of firefighters are volunteers.
The integration is intended to help small fire stations become smart without having to sell their oldest child. For this reason, all supported functions can only be used with extensive permissions in Divera. However, even with limited rights, the integration can be used in parts. If you are curious, feel free to try it out.
Divera offers a more or less well-documented API, which is at the core of this integration. Various actions are offered in HomeAssistant, e.g., to create or edit alarms, change the vehicle status and crew, send messages via Divera Messenger, or publish notifications.
Automations can be set up per unit, with selection aids and drop-downs available wherever possible.
Functions that affect individuals have been deliberately not implemented.
It is possible to integrate multiple units. However, each unit can only be integrated once.
This is actually another Divera integration. But it is the only one (that I know of) that targets entire units rather than individuals.
Even if it is a niche integration, I would be happy about feedback, ideas, and specific requests.
