DIYBMS – SOC Not Resetting to 100% Even When Conditions Are Met

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with my DIYBMS setup where, although all the conditions for reaching 100% state of charge (SOC) are met, the SOC does not reset to 100%. All other functions appear to be working correctly.

Is there an additional setting or parameter in the interface that I need to configure to ensure the SOC resets properly?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hello!
Your DIYBMS not resetting to 100% SOC despite meeting charge conditions is likely due to an unconfigured or incorrect “full charge” threshold. Key settings to check include the specific voltage threshold for 100% SOC, the tail current (charge current dropping to a low level), and any time delay required for these conditions to be sustained. Also, ensure Human to Dog Translator App your shunt is accurately calibrated and cell balancing is functioning correctly. Dive into your DIYBMS interface’s advanced settings for “SOC Reset Trigger,” “End of Charge Current,” or “Synchronization Conditions” to fine-tune the reset mechanism.

Current shunt is measuring fine, i’ve set charged voltage level and tail current. Is there some other settings to be considered ?
