DNS address could not be found

OK, so I dug an older PI4 out and downloaded HA on the the card. Go past those problems and had HA working. It recognized most of the devices in my home. Kept watching videos on you tube. So I dug out an old SSD and took a few days to get that up and running. So now from my Brave browser I keep getting " This site can’t be reached

homeassistant.local’s DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.

DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE

I know HA is running because:

I have Verizon 5G modem and Nord VPN. I know there are some issues with the VPN but when I had the PI on the SD I could get it to work by pausing the VPN.

Any thoughts or Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Larry

Hard to read, but try http://192.168.1.251:8123 (I think that what is showing)

This page isn’t working

192.168.1.251 didn’t send any data.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

This one ?

This page isn’t working

192.168.1.251 didn’t send any data.

ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

same response as before
also both PI and PC are hard wired to a LAN

BTW thanks for trying

as a footnote I got fing on my phone. It shows the 192.168.1.251 on the network. I disconnected the PI from the network and it went away. So we do have a good connection to the PI.

Does http://192.168.1.251:4357 give a response ?

Try

ha core rebuild
ha supervisor repair

on your Pi console

This site can’t be reached

homeassistant.local refused to connect.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Since the supervisor repaired, try

ha core rebuild

Again

Francis thanks for your help but I have to work on another project. So I will not respond for awhile.

That worked I got to the sign in screen on the PC. What did I do wrong? any Ideas?
