Do I need a second zigbee hub?

Hi, I have several tuya zigbee devices that are working via a tuya zigbee hub and tuya cloud.

Currently I‘am planning to install further non-tuya zigbee devices for instance an aqara p1. Is there a way to use my existing tuya zigbee hub or do I have to buy for example a sonoff zigbee stick?

The hub is the coordinator for the Zigbee network, and a network can have only one of those.

I don’t know the specific features offered by the Tuya hub, but I would be surprised if you didn’t need a Zigbee device to act as a second hub for non-Tuya devices, on a separate channel.

Since tuya indeed doesnt adhere zigbee protocol, i fully support this statement. My prrsonal advice would be the skyconnect dongle. You would also be able to migrate all devices to that coordinator and ditch the cloud dependency (although tuya devices might function little different there)
