Do I need trusted_networks here?

I am trying to open my Home Assistant on a Silk Browser in an Amazon Fire Tablet.
But, I am redirected to authenticate the connection. I have opened my Home Assistant server on dozens of browsers, including this tablet before I reset it to factory settings. But I’ve never had this redirection occur.

Does anyone know what setting in the tablet may be causing the redirection?
Or anything else I can try, like trusted networks?

You have to authenticate on what?

That’s what I don’t get. I have never seen this redirection on any other browser, so why now. And only the Silk browser.

I meant what software/application are you requested to authenticate to?
What is shown to you (screenshot welcome)?

It’s a Kindle Fire Tablet, so I can’t do a screen shot. The redirect URL is over a hundred characters, so I won’t be copying it by hand. Especially since I have a workaround. My NabuCasa login works just fine.

But, thanks for trying.

I basically only asked for the domain of that url…

Btw:

Thanks for the link. Similar to my phone which is power+Vol Down. It never occurred to me to try Power up.

Now for something completely odd.
I can’t repeat the issue. I can now log in through my Nabu Casa and through my local IP.

What’s your experience with the Kindle Fire?

None, but my google-fu is good :yum:
