Do not auto-load data on history and logbook pages

I often get annoyed when I have to go over to the history or logbook page because the page starts to load data as soon as you get there. If I want to look up something that happened 3 days ago and I go to the logbook page, I have to wait for the logbook to finish loading today’s entries first, before I can go back 3 days using the date picker. It’s even worse when I go to the history page, if I want to change both the date and the time frame: I have to wait for the page to finish loading when I change the date, and again when I change the time frame.

I would like to see the history and logbook pages not auto-load any information until I’ve picked what I want to see, and click on a button (Submit/Load/Search/Whatever).

Wait, what? The date picker works for you?? I always thought it was just there but never worked.

Mine always loads yesterdays entries (takes looong time) before its possible to use the datepicker.

I should’ve specified that it used to work this way. Due to a bug it currently doesn’t (temporarily), but it looks like it’s only a matter of time before a fix is rolled out. This feature request is based on how it worked before the bug, and how it will work again once the bug is fixed.

I think the current behavior is correct, but maybe the query is to complex, or there are indexes missing in the db.

Fixing the loading time is the correct approach in my opinion.
