Do TP-Link Tapo devices still work with Home Assistant?

I was looking forward to buying some Tapo smart plugs and sensors, but stumbled across this thread about TP-Link devices no longer working with Home Assistant: Third Party Integration (Home Assistant) - Smart Home Community.

Just wanted to check in with people currently using their products to see if this means I should avoid buying these, or if it still works and I’ll be fine.

I have a mix of Tapo and Kasa switches, plugs, snd cameras and they all work great with Home Assistant.

Third party integration is no longer needed - the inbuilt TP-Link integration supports most of the products well now. I have half a dozen P110 (pre-matter) and all work great.
