Thank you so much for making this! Perfect timing — I’ve been thinking about this over the last few days it is great to see these in action. I’m curious if you did any experiments with different microphones like the Respeaker USB? Also, have you looked into using any of these as music players with a DAC and external speakers? I plan to try a few different satellite devices and see which one is the most family friendly as an Alexa replacement.

The last one in the video is the one I have made 6 of and replaced the Alexa’s in our home. They all play music and can also trigger music to our sonos speakers as well through Music Assistant in Home Assistant that is linked to SiriusXM, YouTube, and Spotify as well as “local music collection”.
