Does ignoring power/energy entites from the recorder affects the energy dashboard?

My power/energy entities (solar panels, consupmtion, etc etc) are really noisy, I do not care for the history of them besides what I see on the energy panel.

If I ignore them from the recorder, will that affect the Energy Dashboard? Or does it keeps their own DB for the information?

All of energy is based on recorded statistics.

So yes if you exclude an entity from the recorder, you can't use it in energy.

The noisiness is only stored for as long as the recorder purge days, which by default is only 7 days. If you keep that low, there's no problem. The long therm statistics only store hourly aggregates.
