I use HA for two years now and have been trying to keep up with the changes in YAML vs UI configuration. I am on the latest docker version (currently 2020.12.2).
Until today I was pretty much sure that I needed a YAML version of my Lovelace frontend, not really because it is really complicated but because at the time when I wrote my first frontends the YAML approach was much more flexible.
Today I realized that I could manage my views via the GUI - not only all my HACS-installed cards are there but the actual configuration is still YAML, and I can always add a manual section.
My question is: are there still compelling reasons to keep a manual YAML? Are there things I cannot do with the GUI-based configuration?
